R&D
The activity of R & D  is closely linked to the potential offered by the resources of the laboratory, the available data  to characterize the solar resource and the exploration data from various facilities in operation in the geographic area of the county of Moura.


 2010 will be marked by a commitment to the development of activities around the projects:

- Mourad, Moura Radioastronomy Demonstrator, developed in partnership with the University of Aveiro;

- Micro Generation in Urban Environments Sensitive to develop in partnership with the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa;

- Striling concentrators, developed in conjunction with the TOM, SA;

- Launching together with other European laboratories a program of comparative study of characterization of the solar resource;

- Development of new applications and technological solutions based on the phenomena of luminescence in organic photovoltaic;

- Development of innovative solutions in Graetzel cells;

- Purification of water through the use of sun exposure;

- Unidirectional conduction of heat.
